I am sure it has been covered before but on a Yamaha F75 should a different oil be run in the summer versus winter? My boats get run pretty hard all year but are stored in a heated garage and like to change the crankcase oil and lower end oil in the spring and fall and never gave it much thought…

What are you guys doing? There a reccomended oil change kit I can stock up on?

    What does your manual say?

    I run Yamalube 4M 10W-30 all year.

I would also recommend running a can of Yamaha Ring Free

I know it says on the back of the motor under the cowl can not remember which one it is right now but Yamaha’s website lists the “10W30” and “20W40” as oils for this motors so thats why I am curious if people are running different oils in summer versus winter. Still going to change it in spring and fall either way just want to stock up a few kits….

I have an 04′ F75 and I run 10W-30 all year. I don’t get out much with it in the winter months though. never any troubles.

I run 10w30 Amsoil marine 4 stroke year round. Works great.
