I finaly got my new locator. I ended up getting the lms-330c. I was wondering if any of you have played with the x-100c or the lms-330c? If so, what did you think? Also, thanks again for all the help on picking out this unit!!

I have the LMS-330C as my primary locator on my new rig. I have had it out on the river about six times so far and I am 100% happy with it. So far the best feature is the color display, its super bright, very clear. I can sit in back and run my kicker and still read my sonar, speed, depth ect way up at my console even in bright sunlight without a shield. That was always an issue in my old rig.

I just got one too! Aren’t new toys fun! So far it’s met all of my expecatations. Lowrance has a great emmulator that you can download from their website. I played with that before I started setting my unit up in the boat with my preferences. I figured that I’d rather screw up the emmulator than the unit.

    Gotta love the color!!

I also got a LMS-330C and love it!
Put in the Navionics 3′ contour maps and man its right on the money as to accuracy for location and actual depth.
After going back to the store and looking at the grey-scale locators seeing how hard it is to see the screen, there is no comparison, the color screen ROCKS!
