Looking for reel repair or help.I have a Diawa Sealine 27 like new and the drag does not seem to work right.Do baitcaster reels need to have there drags “loosened” in the off season or when not in use ?

Don’t know of a place down there, but yeah on all my baitcasters I loosen the drag all the way for the winter.

    i’ve got daiwa 27s & 47s, penn 9 & 10s and shimano 100 & 200s in levelwinds.

    all could use a cleaning.

    know if he handles them?

Yes for sure on the daiwa and the shimano. I would assume he does Penn as well. He does quick turnaround, quality work, and has good prices.
