    2 Questions
    1. How bad do your aluminum props get before you get them fixed? The current pics of mine are shown and I’m planning on dropping them off today. My top speed is only reduced by 1mph but it just seems like a good idea.

    2. How much do you pay to get yours fixed. I found a guy (Lance’s Prop Shop) who will do an aluminum for $50. He does a great job, but the turn-around isn’t great. Let me know if you know of a better deal.

    thanks!

Log on to soderblooms.com. Their flat rate repair prices are listed by diameter and # of blades. Aluminum varies from $25 – 50. They are in Cromwell, MN.If you have easy acess to Spee Dee delivery service you likely will have it back in 3 days, at your doorstep. My brother in law and I have used them 5 or 6 times and are well satisfied. IMO your prop is ready for repair.

Formula Propeller and Marine, right of 81 in Crystal, if you talk to Todd tell him Ben sent you and he will take care of you, great turn around!

#1 Worse than that. I’d just tap that out with a hammer and piece of wood. Then hit it with a file.

I only get it repaired if I’m missing a serious amount of material. I agree…just grab a mallet and a board and shape it up.

Thanks for the info. I’ll have to try and mend it myself.
