Aluminum Cleaning

An aquiantence of mine has a pontoon boat that he would like to clean the floats on. He had asked me what to use, but I really had no answer. He had tried a product one of the local dealers had suggested (didn’t say what), which worked, but would take 2 weeks to get both floats done at the rate he had to scrub the test area he tried it on. Anyone here have suggestions for cleaning the aluminum floats that won’t take as much effort as what he had tried? I mentioned JJV’s to him, only because I see their commercials a lot on TV.

    Thanks guys.

Wonder if Navel Jelly would work? Put on, let sit, and then put some elbow grease to it. I’ve had some great luck with the stuff but know what them floats can look like.
Just a thought. Will be interedted in seeing others replys.

I googled aluminum cleaner on the internets. Kleen King seems like the stuff you are looking for.

Back in college days I did my canoe with rubbing compound. Came out pretty nice. Was a long day in the sun with beer and music.
