I can buy a PD V2 70 w/ I pilot for 779.00. Terrova 80 will be around 1450.00 – rebate. The Pd is factory refurbished with a 1 yr. waranty. Is the terrova really that much better. Currently have a 55 PD on a 95 Lund Pro Angler. It doesn’t bother me not having the foot pedal with the V2.
I used the Terrova 80 with I Pilot last summer and found it just as advertised. I gave up my 55 PD.
The only reason I went with a terrova was to gain the foot pedal . don’t know of any other difference
The terrova has a better stow and deploy mechanism, other than that similar in operation. I think the foot pedal is a good idea, I installed an i pilot on my power drive and missed my foot control on more than one occasion.
My friend has the PD with I-pilot added and I have the Terrova. You WANT the Terrova, hands down. Deployment mechanism 100x better on the Terrova and having both the foot control and the handheld is great to have, plus those 10# extra thrust never hurts in choppy water.

Owned 3 PDs before I got my Terrova. Absolutely no comparison. Terrova!!!!!
foot pedal difference is worth it!! i went thru3 on a pd last year and its not2 mention 3days of fishing it ruined/had2 adjust and find a shop2 get a new1.
