Recomendations for outboard motor painter?

    Has anyone had their outboard motor re-painted? What are the lasting results? What kind of paint was used? Costs? I have a 30hp Yamaha 2 stroke that I may want to have re painted. Local recommendation?

    Thanks Jack, I’m from NE Iowa….near Cedar Rapids…but willing to travel a bit if I have to!

    Would my question be better suited for another forum? If no one knows of a outboard motor painter in the midwest….does anyone know where to purchase PPG or similar paint for this 1989 30hp Yamaha motor of mine….maybe I can paint it myself!
