    Cool Beans!

Truly a great (but under appreciated) tool for the lake or river boater.

Thanks I’m going to order some!

Correction I ordered 2! (the heavyest ones) Never used before. 1950 Lund Tyee (19 1/2′ with a v8 IO drive).

Exactly how much stretch would they have before breaking? I’m thinking of looping a safety cord to retrieve my anchor in case they might fail.

I’ve used my Deuce for two years in some pretty good winds. It works great for side winds.

To answer your question about breaking…don’t know.

I don’t know, but that would take pressure to break one, i have really wrenched on mine with a stuck anchor

I’m confused by this statement. The way I understand the correct usage of the Drop N Stay, you still use your regular anchor rope attached to the anchor.

I read they opened back up just to clear out inventory.

Sorry I did not mean to make confusion, I’m just not going to attach the very end of my anchor rope to the drop and stay end that is away from my boat and only allow it to be the attachment to my boat.
I was wondering how much anchor rope I should leave on board the boat and tied off to another cleat?
Hope that clears things up. (I’m still on my first cup of Joe, so it msy not be as clear as I think )

We did open back up just to clear out the remaining inventory. I figure it will take about a month as we have quite a bit left.

The breaking strength on a heavy is 440lbs and heavy deuce is 880lbs. A 20ft boat in 3′ waves will put about 50lbs of pressure on the drop-n-stay. I over-engineered this product as you can see.

I hope that answers your questions and I just wanted to say thanks again to all of you. It is sad that this is the end of it but I sure got to meet a lot of great people like you on this board. Good luck this season and stay safe!!
