Fish sonar power questions

    I am purchasing a Minn Kota 70 PowerDrive V2 with i-Pilot and Universal Sonar for Christmas and have a couple questions. I was going to use my Eagle Cuda 128 Sonar and hook it up to trolling motor using the Minn Kota Universal Sonar 2 connector plug but when I sold my old boat I left the power cord for the Sonar in it and I have no way to get it back. Is there a way to get a replacement for such a thing or am I kind of out of luck?

    Also, my trolling motor will be a 24 volt model and I plan to have 2 12 volt batteries running in a series for powering it. Can I hook up my Sonar to this battery setup or do I have to run power all the way to the back of the boat for it and hookup to my starting/accessory battery?

    For 12v just connect to the + and – side of ONE battery…however, I don’t like running my electronics off of my trolling motor batteries.

    I’m sure there’s other opinions out there…that’s just mine.

    Not sure about your power plug.

    Oh, it’s an Eagle power cord your looking for?

    They should have it at LeExtras.com I would think.
