Cranking Reels

    I am looking at purchasing a new cranking reel with a lower gear ratio, something along the lines of 4.7:1 or lower. The brands that I am thinking of it the Lew’s or the David Frits Sign series. Does anyone have any info of these reels or experience with lower ratios?
