Anyone have one of these products? How do you like them? Did you install them yourself or have it done by a dealer? Any other comments good or bad?

I had a set of liqui-lube hubs on a trailer a few years back and loved them. ZERO hassles, no leaks, and it was always nice to be able to walk past and see the level of lube in the hub w/o needing to disassemble or pop off a dust cap.

I’ve never used them but have seen them. I can’t see why they wouldn’t work well.

The same basic design is used in many applications, including the front hub/bearing assemblies on 4×4 Polaris ATV’s.

That design has proven very reliable in the harsh environment the ATV’s get into and, I have to believe a boat trailer would be a walk in the park comparitavly speaking.

My new boat trailer will indeed use these style hubs.

Steve, I had them on my old trailer, will be getting some for my current trailer. My buddy put mine on, it took him about 2 hours.

    Kerry,
If I remember right they are around $100 bucks, is there a kit that comes with it to install and if so is the kit extra? Would your buddy be interested in installing a set for me? I am willing to pay him.

Steve, The kit was a little over 100 bucks. Everything you need comes with. I will talk to Dale tomorrow and see if he will do it.

Have had mine for a couple years now and they are great. When you order the kit make sure you have the exact measurements of the spindles for the seals. My shorelander has a step down spindle and the kit they sent the first time was for a straight spindle. Installation was a piece of cake.
