I have been using a lot of Buss Baits. I have even been trolling them when my arms get tired of casting. That is fun and you cover a lot of water.

I will tell you what, my favorite lure for pike is a Zara Spook. What a great lure to walk the dog. I also was fishing pike with a spook and got my biggest bass on it. AMAZING LURE.

Steve – it looks like the larger one in your pic is a Zara Spook and the smaller a Zara Puppy. I haven’t seen one but am guessing the Super Spook is a size or 2 up from the larger one in the pic.
I did very well using both of the sizes mentioned for pike, largemouth and smallmouth. 3 of the 4 largest smallies I caught last year were on the puppy and the fourth on a spook.

I like a silver minnow with a trailer to fish the slop. Any kind of artificial frog for the pads.
