Had the engine about 5 years, and just last Tuesday noticed that it wasn’t peeing out much water. I was running it in a lot of weeds this last weekend. Can I blast air in the hole to see if its clogged? I didn’t have any cooling issues yet, but affraid it might need an impeller
I have the same motor and the wire on a bottom bouncer works good to clean out the old pee hole when it gets clogged.
Easy to see if it will improve your water flow.

I have the same engine and run through every thing poss just drill it out a lil biger and ur ready to go 
Watch the flow when you shut down and if the water “steams” you are having water flow problems and probably need an impeller. If not, bore out the hole as mentioned above.
have a 05-25merc have had a leaf rolled up in the p tube–you can pull the hose off the block and run and check for volumn at that point chances are the tube is plugged unles you might have tried to bump the engine over when dry and tore a blade off the impeller account being stuck to rub plate–good luck–snagge
