Picked up the PDv2 with i-pilot & sonar installed. The remote was misplaced, so went & picked up a replacement remote. Read the owners manual to configure the new remote to the power head. When i press a button on the remote, all items on the screen light up for a few seconds then turn off. Remote will not configure.
Any ideas? thanks
Did you hit the learn button on the trolling motor head and get them sync’d up?
i hit the button on head & then the remote. I also held the button down for a moment & after a moment of holding the button, i hit a button on the remote. is there a particular button on the remote to push?
From what I remember that should get them syncd up. After this if you put you motor in the down position and have your trolling motor connected to the battery (like you were on the lake ready to use it) your remote shuts off?
You do have the motor in the deployed position, correct?
