Navionics Question

    I have the Navionics app on my ipod as well as the chip in my HDS. On most lakes the depth is shown like such: 18′. But on certain lake, usually larger lakes, there aren’t any units shown. (See pic) Do these numbers indicate the depth in feet?
    Also, what does the ‘8’ mean, as in 328? (I can’t figure out how to make a subscripted 8)

    I appreciate any help.
