    I thinking this is too big of a job for me to do on my own…. Insight?

    Anyone had a manual jack plate installed idea on cost?

    Very easy to do Nick. Just make sure to pre mark your holes and take your time. Took me about 30 minutes.

    it’s not a killer.
    make sure the inside is clear b4 you drill.
    use stainless steel bolts and fender washers. FltFarm
    silicone the holes prior to assembly.
    DIY no brainer.

    Drilling? isn’t this usually a bolt on application? In which case I may be worth my while to actually pay for this.

    Very easy to do, don’t let them bill you for more than 1 hour labor.

    If you are not comfortable I had Michael Meyer install a hydraulic one for me while he was swapping engines on my latest boat.
