I used a heating gun , careful not to be too close or too high of heat

I have access to a waterjet. Would that work for cutting it ??

Yes, it can. You’d want to use water-only waterjet cutting but abrasive waterjet cutting would work as well. It would depend on the application you’d be using the plastic for.

Cutting- table saw, skill saw. More teeth the better. Also hacksaw or jig saw works for small work(not the srtaightest cuts)
Once again more teeth (fine) the better. Use masking tape to prevent scratches from a saw foot.

Bending- sheetmetal break bent cold. Would not have believed it till I saw Brian make my White Cap splash guards. Always thought heat was needed. Heat can be used if no access to a break.

What are you making now?? A lot of places that bend this stuff a lot (large quanities, big pieces) use heated dies in a break press. We bend it frequently, but we do buy a “grade” that can be bent without heat. We have tried a heat gun, etc. without much luck, the heat is proably gone also make it brittle. If you can get to their press brake, I have always had the best luck with a large radius top and bottom die. As far as the water jet goes, we have cut it with and without garnet, we usually cut it on the CNC router.

    Too many options and variables…

    Give me a call.
