My buddy gave me two gallons of Cabela’s Semi-Synthetic Two-Cycle Oil. I don’t know anything about this oil and wanted to hear from you and your thoughts.

Well, have never used it but, from using MANY Cabelas products in the past I would not be suprised if it were sub par like so many of Cabelas brand products. I would be hessitsnt. It is probly some randomly bottled TCW-3 oil. Just my opinion… -Mark

I see you are from Oronoco. I would call or stop in and talk to Hiram Pettey the owner of S&M Marine. Tell him Charlie the fighter sent you .

That is all my family uses and we’ve never had a problem in any of our boats. In the spring they have em on sale for 10 bucks a gallon. We load up.

That could be true Mark…I would have no idea where or what they get their oil…
But…I used to pick up loads in various Midwest oil bottling plants as backhauls and I noticed 1 thing…
The warehouse had stacks of not only the big name brands, but also had stacks of “store brand” oil…..
They just switched bottles…it was all the same oil…
