    Wade, that’s great news!
I have the LakeMaster software loaded on my PC here at home. It has allowed me to pinpoint areas of stucture that I have fished for years and now can locate the spot on the spot! I now need to up-grade my locator to one that loads the chip, than I will be set!

Wade, I sure hope mother nature reads this board and knows that spring is here on the 20th.
    Thanks, Bill

Bobber, you might ask Derek about the new Lowrance GlobalMap 4800. He just got a pair and I’m pretty sure he plans to run the LakeMaster cards on ’em.

Bill, we’ve got open water on some of the smaller lakes and ponds around here!

Great news Wade, I do plan on running the one foot chips in each of my 4800’s. I have the CD on my puter as well but wont use it much anymore. I like to pull it up and read it once in a while but nothing beats the chips.

Did anyone use the Lakemaster ProMap series last year? I am wondering if it is worth the purchase for the lakes around Brainerd? (I run the x-series gps’s from Lowrance)

I used the reelbottom on Mille Lacs last year and I learned more in one summer on the south end than 11 years fishing that lake – truly unbelievable!!!

Can not go wrong with the Lakemaster chip. I use mine on Leech and I agree, we always knew we found a hot spot but when you see the big picture you surprise yourself.

I heard that they will be adding Winne and LOTW this summer to the 4 that are on there now.

I found I never used my PC software any more and sold that and just use the chip.

I should also say that the LOTW will not included the Canada Side. Thats what I was told.

    Ted,

The Pro Maps for the brainerd area are well worth it. Having the chip helped my wife win her first bass tourny on Lake Hubert.

    Thanks Mike –

That is what I suspected, but wanted to confirm!
