Need to replace my bilge pump in the boat any recommendations or are they all pretty much the same?

Get a auto pump. Nothing like being on vacation and getting 4″ of rain to ruin your fun.

Auto pumps are nice – when they work. I know a lot of guys (myself included) that had the pivot arbor for the float break. In my case, I gave up after the second one. If the float doesn’t pivot up, it never turns on. Unless you do it manually.

they are pretty standard and not bad at all to replace..i’m not sold on the auto feature another good concept but when they fail it’s 5x as much bull s… to get them to work not worth the extra cost
