Enjoyed some late ice father daughter time.

With the unseasonably warm weather we’ve been having I took the opertunity to get my daughter out for what will probably be her last trip of the season yesterday, unless winter shows up finally. The ice was surprisingly still in really good shape still right now. The weather was great and the fish were cooperative. We had a couple pretty intense games of tag and did some “ice skating” in between fish.

From what I’ve been cutting and hearing there’s quite a bit of really good ice still in the area and the fish are biting.

Besides the wind, it was a great weekend to be out. Good for you to take advantage of the remaining ice with your daughter.

Most the holes I drilled on Half Moon and Bear Trap yesterday were still 14-16″.

I had two daughter’s, never missed not having a son. Took the girls ice fishing a number of times.

I too have a girl farm. Three daughters and a female Lab. They are all in when we go on a “field trip”. My wife thinks a new pontoon boat would be fun when we have grandkids. I’m hoping for grand-daughters!
