My brand new Ulterra had to be emergency stowed because one of my two 12v batteries (requires 24v) died and I haven’t been able to get it to work since. I have been told by tech support that I need to have it checked out by an authorized service provider and that anytime an emergency stow away is required, a service check is advised. Unfortunately there are no authorized service shops in Utah although two are listed on Minnkota’s website. Both denied they provide authorized service.
Now I need to ship my Ulterra to Minn. Does anyone know what the cheapest/best way to ship this HEAVY motor is?
Has anyone had this problem and do I really need to lose the use of my motor for the Summer?
Beware! Make sure you have two good batteries for your Ulterra or this could happen to you.
