didn’t even know they had an ice line. I picked up one of their open water rods last spring and I love it. I’m under the general impression that longer is always better (wink), but I also prefer a lighter rod for walleyes. They don’t really have anything in their line that fits that bill. Bummer

Since the sport show has ben canceled this year, here are some places you can get your hands on one to see if you like the feel. I would call ahead to make sure they have what you think you want in stock.

Tbro16, which Elliott rod did you get? I was going to buy one at Reeds this fall, Sept. They were all out and said they wouldn’t be getting any more until Spring. I was really disappointed.

I bought the 7’0 light. Needed something for lighter applications, like flipping/dragging light jigs or tossing slips, and I absolutely love it. When held next to a similar g loomis I couldnt not buy the Elliott. Super light rod and ultra sensitive. The handle is something you’ll have to get used to because its so different but I’ve learned to like that too. Highly recommend!

I bought a Noodle Light from them last year and liked it enough to later buy a Nomad later in the season. The NL was good, but in my opinion it’s a bit stiff for any rod that has the word “noodle” in it. The Nomad though…AWESOME stick for fishing heavier walleye and ‘pout baits.

I just might even like it more than my Commander. whistling

Considering trying one of their new ES42M-F rods this season if I can get my hands on one to flex first.

I took a flyer and ordered a greenback model from marine general, no stock for two more weeks.

Any more updates on these rods? From some of the videos I have seen they seem to flex a bit more than the TUCR rods?

Scheels had some in stock. I liked them a lot. I was looking at the evolution series I think…they were longer like 44″ I didn’t buy it and I wish I would have. They look like great quality rods.

The 42ā€ greenback is nice. Nothing over 26ā€ yet, so not a real test, but Iā€™m happy with the action.
