    This forum has be quite for a while… anyone heading west? I leave September 1st and will be out until the 18th. Hope to share a story when I get back. Heck, I should write up my 2016 adventure first. )

    I fly out scouting a new area Sept 6th to 10th, then back Oct 18 to 29th for second season rifle

    Good luck. I leave sept 20th for Idaho. We will be after elk and mule deer.

    I don’t head out until early November, but I’ve already got that itch for those clear cold mornings the smell of elk in the timber.
