Elite ti2 downscan

I just bought a new Elite ti2 9 inch and installed it on a 21 foot center console. When I go into down scan it seems that there is two sections of the menu that are just missing. one being the “mode” which should be at the top right hand corner of the menu and then the other one being the “frequency” which is supposed to be right under the “range” on the menu, that’s how it shows in the manual that’s how I’ve seen it online it just seems like mine is completely missing. Because of this I am unable to change the frequency while in downscan mode. I’ve called Lowrance four times and have gotten absolutely nowhere, one woman actually asked me if my transducer was level which I have no idea how that could possibly do anything for this problem. I’m done with lowrance I’m getting to the point where I’m going to possibly rip this transducer out and do a full return.

Anyone have any ideas? It would seem like it’s just an option somewhere that I cannot find, I don’t see how there could just be 2 menu options missing.

I don’t see a “mode” option anywhere in the TI2 user manual.

With the latest update, DI and SI have been separated, you no longer go into the structure scan menu and select the one you want from SI or DI. DI and SI are now separate options, like sonar and charts for example.

If you select the Down Image page and display it, you should then have a full menu, including frequency, which will give you your choice of 455 or 800. It is odd that you don’t see that option on your screen regardless.

I wish I could be more help, but without seeing what’s going on in person, it’s really hard to diagnose. Have you got any screen shots?
