Elevated hunting blind platform

The blinds I bought are 6′ across at the bottom. They do have a flange at the bottom for fastening them down to a platform.

I have plans from a friend who has built elevated platforms, the material comes to around $300 for 1 platform stand.

I’m looking for 5 to 10 feet high elevation. Nothing crazy. Are there any commercially made platform kits out there reasonably price? I’m not having much luck. I’m not against gathering the lumber and cutting and measuring off the plans I got, but if there is something priced comparable that comes in a kit, that might work well also. Thanks for any help.

We have used 5 or 7 ft scaffold sections. They work great

So, for a permanent blind anchored down these wouldn’t make any noise? How would I anchor them to the ground to securely hold a box blind and a couple people?

Is scaffolding cheap and easy to come by? I have no idea. Thanks for the suggestion.

Riverrun I was thinking about riding over and checking them out I’m about 40 minutes away from Medford. How heavy are they? If you look on utube Maverick blinds make a frame for there blinds that might work.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll look at that.

This is off the website and what I paid for each blind. I got 3.

Build a platform and get some metal elevator brackets

Muddy makes a 5′ high platform for $350. It might take a little modification but looks like it might work.

This is the one I bought about 5 years ago from Rivers Edge. They have a factory sale each year in Cumberland. I think I paid closer to 300.00 for the platform which is 10 ft in the air and another 300 – 400 for the enclosure that sits on top of it. Both the platform and enclosure have handled the elements great so far.
