What do all of you do when your blades need to be sharpened? Just pitch and replace?
I tried to search for anything on this subject but couldn’t figure it out, where’s the search button?

    Thanks,
    Don

Put your cursor on the small magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner for search.

Can’t help on how to sharpen myself as I use a conventional fillet knife.

A small dia round diamond hone will work for sharpening any serrated style blade. Only sharpen from serrated side. The flat mating surface of the blades needs to stay flat. Do NOT take any material off the flat side.
You most likely will have a very small burr develop on the flat side while honing the serrated side. Stropping the flat side on a single thickness cardboard, treated with some jeweler’s rouge will remove the burr. This is the only thing which should be done to the flat side.

Chainsaw file works also. I have sharpened mine many times. Get a file that just lays in the serrated edge

Anyone ever been in here? Random I saw this tonight. I just drove by it Friday and thought it looked like a store I like to poke around at. I have been happy with the farm\garden a few blocks away maybe need to stop.

Been living in the area my whole life, been there ONCE. They had a small engine of mine for 6 months, called and told me they couldn’t figure it out and to pick it up with an $80 bill. Neighbor fixed the motor with less than $10 in parts and 20 minutes of his time. Never again.

On the other hand, their sharpening has seemed to be decent. My first job was at Ace(now closed) down the street and that’s where they would take anything coming in to be sharpened and never got as much as a gripe about their work…
