Eddy’s on Mille Lacs

Drove past at 8pm tonight and not a car in the motel parking lot.

I do not get there business model and I have no idea how they make money either it’s open or closed

It’s never real busy. On a Wednesday in winter if they don’t have shacks out I am not surprised.

I’m not even sure if they are open other than Fri-Sun at the main hotel until around Fishing Opener unless they have a big group booked.

It never seems to be busy other than when they have BASS tourney’s.
The food isn’t that great, same with the service.

Do they even use launches there during the open water walleye season anymore?

I don’t think a launch has gone out since the vid. Those ole boats are stacked up in the woods and wouldn’t pass an inspect IMO. I preferred the old Eddy’s.

It’s all about land acquisition.

Owned by the tribe, they could care less about others on the lake. Tribe brings its money up from nursing homes and cashes the SS checks…

Eddy’s is just an overflow hotel for the casino.
As said they don’t need to turn a profit or have customer service.

Steer clear. Anything spent there is just a donation to the wrong cause.

Anybody know who bought Izatys ? I seen it sold last month for around $4.2m… seems it would be way more that that but.. location is everything I guess.

I guess I thought the tribe owned Izatys too.

It’s native owned. Probably a halfway house for addicts and alcoholics nowadays. They don’t care about resport money, they’ve got white money from the casino.
