Earlier this year we had someone stop at our house and ask us if we were interested in getting our ducts blown out. Since we had not had it done in a rather lone time, If ever, and because they were offering a good price as a new business trying to Grow, we had it done. It was well worth it. It was crazy the amount of gunk they blew out. Just this morning we had a local sprinkler service show up to blow out our sprinklers. Both of these jobs look like a great side hustler for someone or for a young person looking at starting their own business. Both Fairly low start up cost, and nothing more than hard work needed. Granted that the sprinkler blow out is a rather short time period of work each year, but that is where the duct blowout would help fill in the rest of the year. What are some of your thoughts on other good side jobs or business Startups ???

Pressure Washing side gigs are the new trendy one in our area. A few years ago it was likely more lucrative…now every young kid out of HS seems to have a truck and a pressure washer posting on social media about pressure washing anything under the sun.

If you have the time, tools, and knowledge to make small garden sheds, planters, build a deck, chicken coop, etc. there is money to be made. There’s a guy who is retired LEO in his mid 50’s a few miles down the road that powers out nice 4×8′ chicken coops and sells them for $1750 or $2k if painted. He has a plan people like down to a science. He flipped me $50 for loading 2 on a trailer a few weeks ago for a guy who drove down from the cities for them. I asked him what he had in them for material costs and said $500.

Being good at excel can be a pretty good side gig.

Concrete is my biggest money side gig. Stay as busy as I want. Can bring in some pretty serious extra cash. Paid for my truck in cash that way. Also cutting egress windows.
This year we built a portable deer processing thing for the truck and now do a “come to you and process your deer” for 150 bucks. Takes 1 hour to cut bag and grind some ones deer and they know they got there own deer instead of them hauling it to a butcher.
We also bought a seamless gutter machine and that’s easy fast money

Its exactly what I need and you can guarantee I’ll be requesting your skills in the future.

You’ve obviously found a nice niche local business and you’ve mastered it.

Lots of ways for people to make money out there. Even for young people. Just need to have a good work ethic and be willing to work hard.

I did a lot of officiating sports when I was younger. I officiated youth football, umpired little league baseball, and officiated youth and men’s league hockey for many years. I don’t have the time to do it anymore, but there is an enormous demand for officials and umpires, and they all pay well.

The one kicker was that a lot of these games were often played on the weekend so I had to sacrifice some weekends to do it.

Is this boneless processing are we talking using a meat Saw? If you can process a deer in a Hour doing it boneless, including bagging and Grinding, you are incredible at it and will make some excellent $ doing it.

It’s a buddy and I. Between the 2 of us we can have it done in a hour start to finish. Steaks cut, roast cut, meat ground and vac sealed. No “meat saw” needed.
Only 2 fillet knives and a Sawzall. Small genset and a vac sealer. Everything de boned and ready for the freezer.

2 guys an hour shouldnt be hard. 2 guys skinning is good 3 would get in each others way. A good grinder can do a whole trimmed up deer in under 10 minutes easily.

You bring your fresh kill right home. Call us, we show up with 2 tables, the deer hanger, a tarp, a small wash tub. Do everything from skinning it to processing it and cutting all your favorite steaks, roasts and grind. Grind it all and then vac seal. We have contractor bags for all the bones and hide. It makes it convenient not to haul to the butcher and is a piece of mind that your deer is the meat your getting

I sleep 4 hours a night. And I haven’t been in the woods in 2 weeks. I pick and choose what work I take on.
As for the portable processor, I try to just service our area, isn’t cost effective to go to far. And I pick and choose when I accept work.

I shot 2 doe in 1 sit. Now I’m just waiting for the right situation to sneak in to the buck zone. Hope it works. But I have 4 days of youth to do with my kid, and then 3 at ripley. If I can get my son on a nice deer then that is all the success I need. I have till December 31st. No need to rush things.

There was a Ton of young kids making BIG $ on Youtube off of slime making video’s. Others selling Slime online. There was a kid who made 50,000 a month doing it. It was crazy the $ they were making off of Slime.
