Easy Idea For Wheelhouse Guys

Out watching football in the shack, and thought I’d share my super easy, effective, and cheap lure storage idea.

For the last 4-5 winters I’ve had a piece of cork on the wall for storing favorite lures.

It works awesome, and holds a ton of baits. The cork is soft enough to prevent dulling, but sticky enough to hold baits even down the roughest roads.

If you want to get fancy, you could frame/trim the sides out. Mine is just screwed down in all four corners.

I laugh everytime I see one of those $50 magnet holders that store 10 baits. Just one of these will hold 50-200+ lures each (depending on the size of the bait)

You can buy a four pack of 12″x12″ cork boards for a few bucks at Menards.

Good idea, I wonder would a piece of hard 2″ styrofoam stick to that? Be easy to insert the hooks into.

Any soft material would work, but the cork looks more natural in a wood finished shack toast

A big chunk of pink foam glued to the wall wouldn’t blend in as nice )

Makes nice artwork as secondary purpose.
