We’re doing a ham….in the oven. Pretty basic.

Church at 9AM then a nice dinner. Small bunch this year.

Happy Easter to all of you and fellow IDOers! If you travel stay safe. Pretty special holiday, enjoy it for what it stands for!

We always have an Easter breakfast at church between worship services and that always get’s the day started off quite nice.

Then the typical family celebration later in the day and ham is always being served. My contribution to the potluck has always been some kind of walleye creation. Last year, it was walleye pot pie. Not bad…different but quite good.

This year I’m going to try bacon wrapped walleye…even more different. Thinking/hoping it will be a novel appetizer. yay

    Oh…and Happy Easter, Resurrection Sunday!

Not much of a church goer anymore but I do miss hearing the congregation sing “Christ has risen” on Easter.

Brunch at Jake’s in Eagan for us.

Twice smoked ham is an Easter must. Augratin potatoes as my favorite side.

Smoked some spare ribs yesterday for today’s potluck, along with first time smoking my own dried beef and making pickle roll ups instead of buying the dried beef from the store that is overpowered with salt.. Started the dried beef process 15 days ago for the cure and time to smoke and rest.

Looks great SuperDave, however…? I thought this site had a software upgrade that would correct the sideways photos?

Or perhaps it was you? laugh
