I’m looking for an evening launch on the eastside for Thurs. & Fri. evening this week. Does anyone know who has daily launches on the eastside? I know that TP and Terry’s has them daily but thats a long drive from Isle. Thanks!

Try Fisherman’s wharf. I had a friend go out of there with a bunch of guys from his union a few weeks ago

Question is, are you looking for an open boat or do you have enough of a group to charter one? Problem with trying to get on an open boat with the current situation there, is that many are not getting enough guests to meet the minimum to send a boat out. (Much unlike the good old days when most places were sending up to 3 daily!).
Starting in Isle, you have McQuoids and Hunter Winfields, (McQuoids runs 2 boats, maybe best bet), farther up the east side Hunters Point and yes the “Wharf” that they’re called now. They removed “Fisherman’s” from their name?? Farther up Fishers runs a launch but maybe not so much anymore?

If Hunters Point has room they’re on fish on 2 mile and average 60 to 70 fish a night. I witnessed it this past weekend from my boat on 2 mile. Can’t comment if others are on fish or not.

I would go to Hunters point. Great launch service and yes, they are on the fish! You won’t find a better captain than Jonny!!!

McQuoids, bought new boats a couple years ago and they’re right in Isle. I’ve fished with them for numerous group outings, bachelor party’s and family get togethers. We’ve always had a great time! Have fun!

Thanks guys! It’s just me and my wife. Not bringing the boat, family trip for a few days. I’m sure Hunter’s will run on Friday and yes I know Johnny runs a good ship!I will report back. I figured on helping the local launches by taking 3 in the time I was there. May take a Westside bass charter as well.

Fishers has been going out on weekends, and they have a smaller Sportcraft that they take out for smaller groups. I would give them a ring!

At Fishers Resort we are still running launches. Nothing scheduled for tonight yet but it is still windy. If you are interested in Friday night please give us a call also Saturday but we are almost full for that night.

I made it out with Twin Pines on Thursday. It was a good night for fishing. Had a great bite and got about 20 fish myself. Boat must have been over 60-70 with 5 people on the launch. Went out in Isle Friday with Voge Charters and it was bluebird skies and no wind. Charter still managed about 20 fish. Both operations were great. been a LONG time since I was on a charter and I have to say I really enjoyed myself. Hard to beat for only $35. It was nice to sit back and enjoy a beverage and not worry about a thing!

I’m kinda surprised you came all the way over to the west side and Twin Pines? Obviously they were targeting walleye but last year I know they were harvesting SM bass for those that expected fish to take home.
Voge Charters…never heard of them? Where’d they go out of? Anyway, sounds like you found what you were hoping for. Nice sometimes to have a beverage and not have to worry about much else other than reeling in the fish! toast

I had to go to the west side with the high winds. It is very difficult to nail down a charter with the light fishing pressure none of the resorts are going out everyday. I called just about every outfit on the lake to find a boat going out. Voge goes out of Dickies old place. It is now private property now but they lease dock space to a charter.
