My folks were hoping to be able to have the grandkids out and swim this year at their new lakeplace but last few weeks been a real nasty algae bloom. Curious to those who are familiar with it knows if it clears up at all?

Nope, anytime (which hasn’t been often) i’ve been on Rush there hasn’t been much for clarity.
The water is pretty clear until late May / early June then the pea soup takes over until late fall. There’s still a ton of recreational activity out there all summer so it must not bother everyone.
