Any reports on ice conditions in the East Metro or Bayport area (St. Croix)? My son and I would like to go out tomorrow but I don’t know how much the ice has deteriorated so far. Thanks in advance! Any advice on whether ATV use is still OK or walking only would be greatly appreciated.
I didn’t fish but I walked on White Bear today and there’s only a couple inches of slush everywhere I walked. Still some snowmobiles zipping around also. Some water at the accesses and at the shoreline but not too bad. The rain tomorrow will be the killer.
Ice is getting pretty dark on the croix, I didn’t see anyone out there today while heading home from work.
Ice on Green is still over 20”. Getting sloppy but still a few wheelers out.
