Just curious what kind of techniques you guys use for your spring walleyes? And how to locate them in more local, smaller lakes. Any input is appreciated

After opener I’m usually trolling Husky Jerks shallow, or jig and minnow wherever I can find them. Shallow edge weedlines are pretty tough to beat imo.

In the body of water I fish, we focus on where a river enters the main lake. Walleyes spawn in the river and then spread out from there. Typically jig and minnow or jig and plastic just casted and hopped back seems to work. Good Luck Everyone

I pull cranks shallow at night and lindy leeches on the shallow side of a break during the day.

It will depend on where I go but it will most likely involve cranks and jigging or pitching jigs minnow/plastics shallow.
