Had a good weekend with smallies on Clear, Roy and South Red Iron. Usually crankbaits are the ticket. This time drop shot rigs were the best bait. Typical weather—- cold, windy, fog, snow, rain. Water temp was about 50. Optiz was ok for walleyes. Charlies and Club Eden had great food—Chislic and prime rib— and beer.

Glad you found some fish! How are the water levels doing out there this year?

Quite a story. Ran into a GF&P guy at a gas station in Sisseton. He said to hit the docks on Red Iron. He must not have cared for me much.
