Early Ice video shot last week (my first ever) with Superior Angling

    We all watch James and co. every week and imagine how cool it’d be to tag along. I was fortunate enough to join Grant to co-host an early ice episode on Mille Lacs last week for Superior Angling.

    We showed up like any weekend warrior with no intel and proceeded to try to figure the lake out. This is just the teaser. The full episode will air in January and then be available on Superior Angling’s YouTube channel.

    Mille Lacs Walleyes

    The offseason – Mille Lacs Lake Walleye Cold front, high pressure and wind. Numerous terms ice fishermen don't want to hear. Going into the day with no information, we stayed mobile, drilled plenty of holes and found success early by using large rattle baits on main lake humps.

    Cool stuff, thanks for sharing. I bet it was a day you will remember. We are heading there tomorrow to try to do the same thing minus the cameras.
