    Hey everyone,
Planning to attempt my very first Rainbow Trout ice-fishing trip to a very small lake in Northern Ontario in about 2 weeks time.

Any tips including bait, lures, depths, t-o-d, etc., would be helpful!!

    Cheers!

If fishing deeper than 20 feet of water dont be suprised if you find fish only 10 feet below the ice. Sometimes on bottom if under 20 feet deep.
Sometimes an ice fly held still with a wax worm othertimes a flashy slender spoon with a few waxies.
Dont be suprised if you dont mark fish then suddenly see a speck of red on the graph and get hit, rainbows come flying in and will circle and hit several times.
Sight fishing them is fun too if you have a dark enough shack.
