Hey everyone, I was just up on the west end this weekend and will be returning next weekend. With the cool weather we have been having up there I was hoping to get into some pike. I spent a lot of time fishing the classic deep weed edges of big bays and had nothing to show for it besides a nice 24” eye. The only real action I got into was near a rocky shoreline with a small clump of weeds near it in Norwegian bay, and still only got a couple sub 30” fish. The water was 67-69 which is still hot for pike but you would think the action would start to pick up. Anyone have any tips for this weekend on where to find them? I’m not sure if the pike are still in deep Summer locations or what. Hopefully with the cold nights we are having it drops down to the mid 60’s by this weekend. Any tips would be appreciated.
