I rigged mine for an 898 just like yours and in my opinion I would stay the same way you have them just replace the old SI ducer with the new MSI ducer.

If you switch them the MSI/SI ducer image will be obstructed by the high-speed ducer. Unless you are going to switch to an MSI ducer on each side of the hull that is (this would be a total of 3 ducers).

X2 on the rigging. Did the simple swap of the SI for MSI transducer with the exact same setup. Went from the 898 SI to the Helix 9 SI G2N Works great.

Stay the course, but install a much larger board. Then move the high speed to accommodate without the binding issue.

I have a dual mega ducer R and L plus the high speed ducer. This is my second rigging with the birds. First was with the 1198/998 and now the Solix g2’s.
