Would like to here what owners of the drotto latch think of the product especially anyone who has one on a 2018 Lund Impact 1875. I plan to be fishing alone more this year and like things to go as easy as possible. If anyone does have it on the Lund Impact did you add the roller? Also has anyone marked up their bow because of it or does it protect it pretty well?

Mine is on 175 alumacraft and I love it. It is so easy to use and would not want to do without.

Friend has an 1875 impact and loves his drotto. See him this weekend and ask about the roller.

Thanks for replies so far. They recommend the roller on top if the bow drops when launched. I can’t remember if mine drops much or not and will probably wait till I use the boat a time or two before I order the latch but curious to see what your friend says tomr.

I have mine on a Lund Explorer with a Shorelandr trailer. Love it. I loosened the mounting bolt so it pivots a little so it won’t dig into the bow. Usually my buddy driving the truck when we load the boat tips it down a little so edge on the bottom of the bracket is down away from the boat.
What is this roller you guys are talking about?

Have a Drotto on an 1775 Impact Sport – roller trailer. Works as advertised. I fish alone quite a bit and it makes for easy unloading and loading.

For the guys that have it, how does it effect the positioning of the boat on the trailer? Like does it sit farther back (without an adjustment to the winch stand) and about how much if so?

    I love mine.
I have a Ranger 619VS with a heavy bow. I have the roller on it and if i didn’t I’m sure it would catch or hang up.
It one of the best accessories I’ve purchased for my rig.
