    Does it matter what brand as long as it meets the recommended specs? Already have some 3.0Ah batteries and a charger for Dewalt. Don’t have anything for Milwaukee

    The major requirement is that it needs to be a brushless model. As long as its brushless, brand isnt crucial, but IMO, your major brands (milwaukee and dewalt) will tend to be more reliable.

    Make sure it’s the larger 995 or 996 model with 3 speed gear box. Can get drill only on eBay.
