Driftless 2018 Report

Went out with Bruce Ristow again this morning. The last time we went out we caught nearly 100 trout during our fish. I told Bruce the stretch I was taking him on was “not” a numbers place. I told him the average size of fish was better on this waterway.

Floren and I fished. 37 to hand between us. had monster on for 2-3 seconds. couldn’t get off bottom and head shake and gone.

Thanks for posting. Headed down to Decorah for a day on the water next Friday. First time back fishing since college. Do you fish that area much?

i stay near home these days due to back and knees.

made it out last night for 2 hours.

biggest was a wide backed female that thought she was bigger than she was.
