Down riggers

    I am wondering if anyone has used the Scotty down rigger bases that you clamp on the rail.

    yes I do, used them for years. They work great if you only use your riggers a few times a year

    I am thinking of using this style mount. Is this the style you have? I will only use down riggers a couple times a year.

    Did you use the swivel base attachment? What kind of rods and reels did u use? This all new to me and I don’t know anyone that uses them.
