Hardened brass alloy, hardened hoop. 2 saws all blades and 45 minutes of cutting… just to get thru the back yard gate.

By the time I ran to Menards to get the wheel and home again I’d still be where the picture is at.

There is a 100% chance you find that key now.

I can safely assume you were not running a Diablo Sawzall blade. A grinder would have cut that hoop in 5 seconds. Had to do the same last week to a trailer I couldn’t find the lock key for.

Looks like someone needs to watch a few Lock Picking Lawyer videos.

Not everyone has every dang tool! Yup when you have the right tool you can save tons of time for the one time in ten years you need that tool. What is the best is if your next-door neighbor has every dang tool waytogo

I’ve had to break my fair share of locks… We let the powerline company through our property in the summer to maintain powerlines. We daisy chain locks together, and occasionally they let a dummy lock the gate and they lock me out. A few hefty hits with a hammer has always worked for me.

The gate that the lock was on didn’t offer a whole lot of options what with limited space.
