This coming Sunday is mothers day. This is the person who molded us in our younger days. They don’t ask for much, maybe a card but for sure a phone call. For those who have lost mom a quiet moment of reflection.

For the younger dads, she is the one molding your young daughter or son. It’s hard to see the influence on a young life now but a few years from now everything she did becomes evident. Treat her well, she deserves the day.

This weekend is also “Take a Mom Fishing Weekend”. MN resident mom’s can fish all weekend without a MN license.

Looks like a nice weekend coming up so why not get mom out on some spring crappies! smile

Having lost my mom last year, this isn’t going to be a fun day.

No it won’t be. However it’s much easier to think about and remember the good times and things you shared. We all lose parents and it’s never easy or fun. I’ve found memories to be better to dwell on then thinking about losing them.
