Micha, my yellow. Got her for free. Loves to go fishing and hunting. She can sure tell I’m packing to go somewhere.

Last pheasant hunt in Iowa this year. Waste of time as all my spots were buried in snow. Da boys had fun tho!
January 11, 2017 at 2:04 pm #1664530Rescued my Pointer, Ozzie, from WI Humane Society at 9 mo old just before Memorial Day. He proved to have a great nose and a natural pheasant hunting. Now if he just had a partner that could shoot straighter we’d make a great pair. We had a 13 flushed bird day once he got it all figured out. For WI public hunting grounds I couldn’t have been a prouder owner.

January 11, 2017 at 2:14 pm #1664543Oh whew, that’s just wrapping paper… From a small screen it looks like Ozzie tore into something fierce right there on the ottoman!
January 11, 2017 at 2:42 pm #1664550Ripley is doing his best to become a beast. He turned 5-months old last Tuesday. The day prior, he tipped the scale at 51 lbs! He’s doing awesome. We started our Obedience 1 class this week.
He’s discovered squirrels now, and he loves to sit at our patio door and watch them, hoping to be let out to give chase.

January 11, 2017 at 3:01 pm #1664555Mine is fixated with rabbits out back. I can tell by her sounds how close they are. Usually on the other side of the fence. Most of her kills are first thing in the morning after they wander into the yard.
January 12, 2017 at 12:00 pm #1664827With short hair I’d love to buy Ozzie booties and a coat but found he loves to chew neoprene including the tops off my $130 Muck field boots returning from a trip. I asked my son what he was doing in the back of the van, he replied, “nothing, just chewing on something black.” Other than my boots so far he only chews up his own toys but tears through most of them as fast as I can buy them. It was a warm but wet pheasant season but my feet were forced to sweat their way through the season with my alternate Muck Arctic Pros since I couldn’t decide if wet sweaty feet were better than wet cold feet wearing my leaky hiking boots.

January 22, 2017 at 4:16 pm #1667566Wet, muddy, and covered in burrs. Couldn’t be happier!

January 25, 2017 at 2:52 pm #1668569They may be shorthairs, but that doesn’t stop my boys from playing in the snow! I tried to get an action shot, but all you see is brown and white blur.

TipUpFishOnPosts: 153February 24, 2017 at 4:24 pm #1676677There are some amazing dogs in here, love looking through them. Here’s our Lola, she’s a beagle/greyhound mix. First picture is stolen from the mrs.’ instagram but perfectly sums up her personality.

February 24, 2017 at 7:15 pm #1676707Ralph he is a Drahthaar. He’ll be 6 in a couple months. My wife takes him running with her quite a bit to wear off some of the energy. A couple weeks ago they went for a 6 mile run and then we went to a game farm for about 4 hours chasing birds and I think he still had more energy than me when we were done.
March 20, 2017 at 2:32 pm #16825453 years since Belle’s first roll in the mud and this picture was taken. She still hasn’t found a mess in the outdoors she didn’t want to get into.

March 20, 2017 at 4:25 pm #1682569Is that a Vizsla? I have had 2 in the past, and just got word that the 3rd is on the way from the breeder!
I have a friend who says that their Latin name is “dog who sits on your head”, and I think he might be right!
bigpikePosts: 6259March 20, 2017 at 5:57 pm #1682585Blue tick hound dog. He tears apart critters if given a sent line. Here he is watching for ice out. Sorry about the sideways, that hasn’t happened to me in awhile at IDO.

I think Farmboy was referring to Nick’s photo.
