Morgan is a 3 year old rescue.

Blue 6 yr old Aussie — no way she’s staying home. Truck, 4 wheeler, car, boat whatever–she’s there.
Here’s a bump, of Belle Jaune on her namesake lake over the 4th surely waiting another chuck it. I believe she slept until Thursday once we got home.
Our dog nickloas he was just turned 18 and we put him to sleep last week. Great dog. Live in the countyr and never tied him up or kenneled him. Taught him to saty in the yard and he went from the deck around the 5 acre lot to the lake etc… never had to go looking for him. RIP Buddy. The secret to his age? the dog would do anything for a cheese stick!!!
This is my Chocolate Lab, her name is Trigger. She was trained at Wings and Whistles and has been a blessing to my family and I in so many ways. Love the photos of all these pups! Thanks for sharing!
Kabekonacrazy – I can’t imagine the heartbreak of losing a canine companion after 18 years, but you were blessed to have him that long. What a great picture, he looks very wise!
My TOBY, a Cavachon (Bichon Frise & Cavaliar King Charles Spaniel)
No shedding, lazy people lover, loves being as close to you all the time. If I go outside, he wants out, If I go to the lower level, he comes with, I go into the bathroom, he heads to the bedroom so he can see me. If however we get the vacuum out, he goes and lays next to our bed with his head under the bed skirt.
In the summer he’ll lay on the floor at our feet, in the winter he’ll snuggle up to us our lay across our laps.
Acts tough and chases Squirrels and Rabbits out of the yard, but if the Bunny stops inside the invisible fence, he stops 15-20 feet away and barks at it.
Thanks guys just part of having dogs. We were really lucky and found a vet to come to the house and take car of it so the dog was at home where he always wante to be. I really like English Setters soft heart and good grouse hunters. In his old age he only hunted for his food dish and his bed. We have alot of grouse in our yard and one day one hit the front door while I was gone and the dog was inside. When I got home the dog was sitting by the front door nose glued to the galss door watching the dead grouse that he just could not get to. Had a bloddy spot on his nose from rubbing it on the door and blood streaks all over the door. Ha ha must have been peer torture for the dog!! He was really glad to get out and fetch it up for me. We ate it for supper.
Kabekona, Sorry for your loss.
Heres my british boys! 7yr old Cooper, hunting machine. Ruger 7 month old in training. Photo bomb wife’s yellow lab Duke.
Stella a year old and can’t wait to hit the marsh this fall.
Kab sorry for your loss. After 18 years he would have been a huge part of your family. Had to be a ton of good times having him that long.
Pancho (Black) and Lefty (Yellow). Lefty just getting over Parvo, nasty stuff for a pup.
It’s been a while since anyone has popped in here, so let’s refresh!
Ripley will be 13 weeks old on Wednesday. Here’s an obligatory Halloween photo–every pup has a little devil in him!
I had to bump up from his puppy crate to a full-size in the truck this past weekend!
I’ve been trying to get him out in appropriate fields as much as life allows. Sunday, I was a little amazed at his progress in the 20 minutes we play hunted in this field. He’ll improve and gain confidence, but we was doing great!
Thanks Ralph! I just went through the entire thread. Hard to believe it was over two years ago I posted a pic of Gerty!
She is a rescue dog and took a lot of patience, she had been severely abused.
She’s turned into such a great dog! I couldn’t imagine not having her now.
Kipp the Brittany at 7 weeks trying to take a nap. I swear it was the only nap he took his first year. He was a bit of a trouble maker in the house. Then Kipp at 1 year old pointing a chucker last April. He’s getting some good bird time this fall and really coming into his own in the field. Still a bit of a crazy man in the house if you let him cut loose, but he’s turning into a great family dog too.
Ripley and I went for a walk this afternoon. While he was distracted, I planted a pheasant wing. Guess he found it, huh?
Here is my fishing partner Bentley. At least he shows up on time
This one is from a few years ago. Gus on top is now 9 and Jazz (Black & White) is 14 and retired.
From this summer Gus below and Zeb the new pup above. Zeb is now 9 months old and almost as big as Gus. He’s having a whale of a first hunting season!
How can anyone turn down a face with this beard?
Great beard!
Ripley’s beard is coming in nicely.
I appreciate everyone that has contributed to this post, and hope you will continue.
We, as sportsmen /women, invest so much into our pets. This has been a great testament on how well we care for our furry companions.
What a great thread! It really is fun seeing all the dogs on here. I wish I could meet them all and scratch their ears. The pic of Kipp at 7 weeks above is absolutely adorable. Here are my boys posing nicely for their Halloween photo.

All the time, money, and love are worth it when they climb into your lap and give you a wet kiss (I’m talking dogs, here!).
Here are our pups.
1. Jack Russell – Yoshi; Not so much a lap dog. Our baby’s best friend.
2. English Springer Spaniel – Nika; great bird dog, loves to flush. She’s a lover not a fighter. Super lazy when she’s not in the field.
3. Pudelpointer – George; ton of energy! Loves to jump fetch and is constantly in your face.. incredible hunter, locks up on birds on a dime best retrieving dog I’ve owned.
Added a video of George dock jumping at the game fair this year.
Kipp, as his Alter Ego combover Don. Yep, I’m reduced to tormenting the dog waiting for enough ice to get the wheelhouse out.
