Just got back from S.D. hunted with the new pup and by the third day she picked up on what was going on, just like flipping a switch. For 10 months old she was trailing running pheasants and finding downed birds. I was really proud of her and our hard work we put in training. We got a lot of nice comments from our group of hunters. We brought back 107 birds for 9 Wi. hunters and 2 S.D. friends we hunt with.

Ha! That is too funny. In calm water, Floyd likes to stand in the bow and let his ears flap in the wind, but if it gets even mildly choppy, he makes every effort to sit in my lap. I have yet to get a photo of it, but it must look hilarious to see a 140 lb Great Dane sitting in the lap of a guy driving a tiller boat.
Ryan, Last summer I saw a great Dane riding in a side car and wearing goggles! I almost went off the road.
