It’s his paw and first joint up that is swollen. I looked 4 times and can’t find nothing.

I think that’s a wise idea. Hope your dog feels better soon. How old is he?

I cant tell you how many times I have worried about limping dogs. Even taking them to the vet sometimes. Luckily they all have healed on their own. Now I dont even consider taking them in for that. It sure is frustrating. Especially when it happens close to or during hunting season.

It’s amazing how fast dogs recover from sprains. Usually 2-3 days for mine.

It’s been a month so here’s a picture of Steve. He is immediately confident that he can bird hunt, retrieve downed ducks from the marsh, tree squirrels, jump rabbits, blood trail you right to your monster buck, and run rat and prairie dog tunnels until there’s nothing left underground. In reality he’s a big puss and he hides under the bed if he hears a gunshot, fireworks or thunder. He’s only half Pomeranian so that must be the toy poodle half.

Working on a picture, picked up a male Field Bred English Cocker Spaniel after losing my Field Bred Springer Spaniel in August. Kind of a 2/3 scale Springer, love having a dog in the house again.

Steve turned 7 today. Here he is with Stella. She’s half King Charles and toy poodle and a few months younger.

Maxx is a 9 year own rescue who was raised in a barn. He knows how to hunt and we are working on house manners. I love that he doesn’t know how to bark. Lol
